What is Zeolite , Where is it used ?
Zeolite is a mineral extracted from the nature having honeycomb shape. There are 46 different types of Zeolite on the world and we are processing the most functional and non-hazardous type among them.
One of the most important properties is its very high water adsorbtion and at high ambient temperatures humidifying the soil by giving the captured water and 5%Nitrogen (N) back to the soil.
With which plants we can use Zeolite ?
You can use Zeolite with all plants which need water and nutrient for clinging to the ground, for root formation, no-soil agriculture, economic plant growing, and cultivation purposes.
How can we use Zeolite ?
You must apply Zeolite particles at the root depth of the plant. After the placement soil must be covered on Zeolite minerals. For example, roots of sun-flower are at 15-30 cm depth and in order to obtain its advantages Zeolite must be applied at this depth.
What is the benefit of Zeolite usage ?
At the first usage Zeolite adsorbs humidity and rain dissolved fertilizer in its body cavities. It remains the soil humid and nutritive for a long time and avoid low nutrition and dehydration hazard for plants
This results oil and time saving especially at dry season. Roots remains humid all the time.
I want to use Zeolite at Wheat Cultivation. How much and How should I use ?
During the wheat cultivation Zeolite is applied 200 kgs/ton before or together with base fertilizer. It is applied to the soil by seed planting machines or by seed added manure spreaders. For wheat seeding depth is 5 - 10 cm. Zeolite must be applied at this depth.
I have 4 years old trees at non-irrigable land. Can Zeolite solve my problem ?
Zeolite can be used safely in such area. Trees can use use available nutrients and water inside the cup-shaped soil around their roots.Diameter of this soil is about 40 cms and depth of the roots are between 30 cm to 30 meters depending on the type of the tree. Soil under the tree is dig in large circular shape untill the roots are seen, cavity is filled with Zeolite and the top portion is filled with 2 - 5 cm soil. Zeolite will adsorb the rain water and the nutrient ions in the soil into its structural pores. It gives back the humidity and nutrients gradually to the soil during no-rain period by sweating process.
Can all the Zeolites at the market be purchased ? Can all solve my problem ?
Zeolite exists in 46 different types on the world. The most appropriate type which has the European Standards and most accepted in the world is Clinoptilolite. In appropriate utilization of other types of Zeolite should be avoided although have the cheaper price.
